Fireside Chat with Tom Gray of Make48

Make48 strives to
bring superior creator experiences to makers of all ages and backgrounds. Make48 host competitive events, sponsored by leaders in the innovation
community, who support all of us who share a love of creativity and
collaboration. As an incubator for bringing and facilitating innovation
and prototypes, they are bringing new designers and inventors into the market
quicker, faster and better. We will be discussing this process with Tom,
and he can bring this innovation to manufacturers.
Tom Gray has always loved innovation. A
native of New Zealand, he put down roots in the Midwest after he met his
wife. He's passionate about letting everyday people learn the innovation
process and prototyping what is in their heads, because in reality, most people
cannot build those prototypes due to lack of skills, time or access to the
right equipment. As a co-creator of Make48 one of his missions is to encourage
everyday people to collaborate with others to build their ideas and expose them
to their community makerspace
