I have attended many in-person Adult Beverage Programs in the past and I found that the virtual session was much more effective. For me, I was able to really focus in on the retailer’s business. The ECRM platform for conducting the meetings was exceptional. All the retailer’s information was available to me as I presented. I was able to address exactly what the retail buyer was looking for and I could tailor my presentation to the buyer’s requests. The notes section on the platform provided me a location to note the next action steps requested by the buyer and it also provided me an opportunity to create historical documentation for future meetings. I am looking forward to the follow up with the buyers in securing new business and on-going sales for our wines. Personally, I feel that I was a better presenter because I slept in my own bed, I didn’t have to travel, I didn’t have to set up, and I didn’t have to tear down. "I now have two ECRM programs under my belt. I was skeptical about the program when I was contacted last year to participate. But was pleasantly surprised by the program. The amount of business generated by the program has been immense to our company. The pandemic has created a new normal with beer distributors wanting small breweries to come with authorizations. It is extremely hard to get meetings with Category Managers of chain groceries as they only meet with national leaders and distributors. COVID made meetings more difficult with Category Managers working from home. ECRM has leveled the playing field for small breweries to get meetings with Category Managers. In first program I was able to pick up 149 Walgreens stores in Ohio and distribution in Oklahoma and New Mexico. I got the distribution in Oklahoma and New Mexico because I met the Category Managers of Albertsons Markets and Homeland stores on ECRM. Just these deals profited our company 5X the cost of doing the program. In my second program in March 2021, I was able to get statewide authorizations for HEB stores in Texas. ECRM does a great job of helping you follow up with Category Managers after the meetings. The meetings itself are very well conducted and there are no technical glitches. I will be doing these programs every year going forward."
