Michael began his ECRM career in 2002 as Director of Business/Category Development working for multiple teams securing Suppliers for new business sessions being launched in the food categories. After 6 months of experience with the firm, Michael pioneered and launched the first stand-alone Pharmacy category focused EPPS for the pharmaceutical marketplace. He expanded the EPPS portfolio footprint to (8) Pharmacy-related sessions from 2003 through 2005 pushing beyond the traditional retail/distribution channels of commerce. ECRM now does business in alternate pharmacy channels such as Health Systems, Long Term Care, Specialty Pharmacy, Physician Offices & Surgery Centers just to name a few.

Michael has over 20 years of extensive strategic account and territory management experience in sales leadership, marketing, and business development. He began his professional career at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in 1993 where he received valuable training, building a foundation in the sales and services industry.

After nine years away from ECRM in various pharmacy/pharmaceutical services/software companies, Michael returned to ECRM in late 2014 to lead the Pharmacy/Medical Markets team as Senior Vice President. In this position, he is responsible for leading all of ECRM’s professional healthcare initiatives.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree in Health/Sports Administration from Baylor University. He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife Amy and daughter Paige.
