How Dot Foods Helps Emerging Brands Expand Their Distribution  2/19/2024

Let's say you are an emerging brand in Maine who met with a foodservice operator based in California. They love your new product, but their distributor doesn't carry it. How do you get it to them? That's where Dot Foods come in. Dot is a redistributor that can get products anywhere in the country in a two-to-four-day lead time.

Once Dot gets it into its system, the distributor can order as little as one case to get it to the operator -- no large commitment on the distributor side, but a great opportunity for the supplier trying to get more sales.

ECRM's Joseph Tarnowski spoke with Dot Foods' Erik L. Mills at our recent Foodservice Session about how the company fills in the gaps when it comes to foodservice and retail distribution and enables emerging brands to significantly expand their footprint.
