RangeMe's Nicky Jackson Honored with P2Pi Innovation Award  9/27/2017

The Path to Purchase Institute, in partnership with the Network of Executive Women (NEW), named Nicky Jackson, Founder and CEO of RangeMe, as one of its 2017 Women of Excellence award winners for her CPG and retail industry thought-leadership and contributions. Her award is in the category of Innovation, for her efforts in creating the digital product discovery platform that was acquired by ECRM this past June.

“It’s an absolute honor to receive this award,” said Jackson. “Each of the women nominated have shown amazing creativity and perseverance, and I’m proud to be counted among them. Women are making enormous strides in technology, innovating and disrupting the CPG industry for the better. Recognizing that is essential to continued exploration and development.”

Women are leading an innovation revolution in CPG and retail as female entrepreneurs and c-suite executives are leveraging their savvy to further development that will meet consumer, buyer and retailer needs. At this year's Path to Purchase Institute Expo in Chicago, 12 women were honored for their dedication and commitment. A community of CPG marketers, retailers, and industry professionals, Path to Purchase Institute is a leading source of information and education on strategies and career growth in the CPG world.

“It's an honor to recognize the innovative contributions that are helping define the new ways to do business,” say Mike McMahan, President and Executive Director, The Path to Purchase Institute. “Innovation is the life blood of growth and relevance in our industry, and brilliance ingenuity and perseverance are enhanced through diversity.”

In 2015, Jackson brought RangeMe to the United States from Australia, disrupting the way buyers source new products in the CPG industry. RangeMe has since changed the way retailers and product suppliers do business and is now the leading online platform that streamlines new product discovery for the industry. The award-winning platform empowers retail buyers with an efficient way to source innovative new products and manage the inbound product submission process. For product suppliers and manufacturers, RangeMe gives increased control over the marketing of their products and greater access to retail buyers. The online marketplace has grown to over 80,000 product suppliers along with major retailer partners that include Target, Whole Foods Market, Rite Aid, Albertsons Companies, Sephora and Petco.

“I know that I, and my fellow awardees and nominees, will uphold the Women of Excellence title long after the year ends,” Jackson says. “The CPG industry is ripe for more women to share their perspectives, experience and ideas. We are leading the way into a new era of growth and success.”
