In Carmody's presentation, explored the six human needs that drive all purchase behavior and especially impulse purchases. The six human needs are:

  2. Variety
  3. Significance
  4. Love & Connection
  5. Growth
  6. Contribution
At different phases of the shopper’s journey, consumers are looking for very different things from the products they are considering. In this podcast, Bill shares examples of what human needs different impulse products are satisfying.
