Podcast: How Suppliers Can Stand Out to Retail Buyers  8/11/2017


For the third On the Shelf Flash Topic podcast -- in which the panelists (of which I am one of them) are emailed the topic ten minutes prior to the podcast recording -- the group discussed the best ways in which suppliers can get their products noticed by retail buyers.

We covered a lot of ground on this one, including what's important to buyers, the best ways to reach out to them, and we even got pretty granular as to how to best word the subject line of an email to increase the chances of a buyer opening it.

Included on the Flash Topic panel were Cairon Moore, a buyer for the University of Colorado's retail locations and regular ECRM EPPS attendee; and Salah Khalaf, a former Sam's Club buyer who has attended several ECRM EPPS meetings in the past.
