Nielsen to Present Trends at Global Wine, Beer & Spirits EPPS  8/20/2016

Competition for each beverage alcohol purchase and drinking occasion and dollar has never been more intense across Beer, Wine, and Spirits, as consumers increasingly drink across all three categories. While all three categories are growing, new trends continue to re-shape adult beverages, and growth is very uneven within – some segments growing rapidly, others hanging on, and yet others in decline.

In an environment of very rapid consumer and retail change, it’s more important than ever to quickly recognize and adapt to these changes, thus heightening your chances of success – whether a retailer or supplier.

During ECRM’s Global Wine, Beer & Spirits EPPS, to be held August 28 to 31 in San Diego, Danny Brager, Senior Vice President of Nielsen’s Beverage Alcohol Practice, with review some of these trends as well as the opportunities they present for retailers and suppliers.
