Boca Raton, Fla.-based Woodfield Distribution, LLC (WDSrx), a provider of integrated 3PL managed services for the Life Sciences industry and a registered attendee of upcoming ECRM Pharmacy events, has expanded its footprint into Texas this month with a new 48,600 square foot facility located in Sugar Land, a suburb of Southwest Houston. Solutions include warehousing and distribution, cold-chain capability, reverse logistics and regulatory compliant disposition. The total investment is approximately $1.5 million, creating 15 full-time positions.

“We are increasing our regional presence in response to client demand," said WDSrx Marketing Manager Lawrence Hotz. "Our Sugar Land Center provides needed additional capacity and features the same advanced technologies and efficiencies at our state-of-the-art location in Florida.”

The Sugar Land, TX project is undertaken simultaneously with doubling of Controlled Substances (Schedules II-V) capacity at Woodfield’s Boca Raton Raton, FL Center.

The Sugar Land Center is licensed to meet Texas Department of State Health Services, cGMP, FDA, DEA and other regulatory requirements. WDSrx handles logistics and value-added services for wholesale distributors and retail pharmacy customers of prescription and over-the-counter drug products including Controlled Substances (Schedules II-V). The facility is located five miles from Woodfield Pharmaceutical, LLC, an affiliated contract pharmaceutical manufacturer.
